Its fall, 2009, in San Diego California, when 19-year-old Melanie's dental journey began. After graduating as a Registered dental assistant, she hit the ground running.

Melanie knew she would enjoy the field from the moment she enrolled in school, but after graduating top of her class, and not even a week into her internship, she realized this was her calling, and that her current role was simply a steppingstone to a much larger vision.

Melanie quickly became an office manager at a struggling practice and, just as quickly, transcended the office to a highly successful and profitable one, to the point where an expansion was necessary in order to keep up with the fast-paced growth of the practice.

After this transformation, Melanie decided to expand even further, moving on to work as a self-employed temp. As a temp, Melanie helped over 100 offices in the Carolinas, where her skills allowed her the opportunity to assist with anything the office possibly needed. This gave her a unique, and extremely valuable, insight on how the entirety of a dental practice runs. From the front office work to the back-office treatment, how different doctors work, how all the different systems work, and how to adapt and apply her expertise to any work environment that comes her way.

After several fulfilling years, in 2018, Melanie decided to take her experience and ambitions to another level, and founded her own business, American Dental Experts. She now helps offices located throughout the country, usually ones struggling with aging reports, or their overall RCM process, where Melanie's expertise really shines, but no matter the need, her clients never regret bringing her on. 

Some of Melanies other specialties include training, insurance denials, appeals, organizing office protocols and procedures, and system conversions.  Watching her practices grow and succeed, winning those tough claims, and awarding her clients with the proper reimbursements, are some of the successes that ignite her passion to continue learning and growing in this field.
